Do you want to lead the work on Mölndal's long-term development? We are now looking for a committed and driven Land Manager within Land and Exploitation. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to sustainable urban planning, collaborate with politics and organizations, and help build tomorrow's Mölndal.

About the Land and Exploitation Unit
As part of the Gothenburg region, the city of Mölndal is in an exciting and expansive phase. This leads to a high demand for buildable land and sustainable planning. The Urban Development Administration's Land and Exploitation Unit is responsible for the city's property ownership, contract negotiations, plan implementation, and the city's exploitation budget.

Job Responsibilities
We are now looking for a land manager who wants to be part of our dedicated team in the Land and Exploitation Unit. Here we work without prestige, with an open atmosphere and a shared desire to create value for both the municipality and our residents. With us, you will have a workday that combines independent responsibility with close collaboration, where no day is like the other.

As a land manager, you play a central role in managing and developing the municipality's land holdings. You will work on establishing, renewing, and monitoring various types of lease agreements, such as leases and usage rights. This involves responsibility for handling renewals, terminations, and fees, as well as ensuring that the agreements are followed and updated as needed. You represent the municipality as a landowner in various contexts and serve as an important contact point both internally and externally.

You will continuously monitor revenues and costs related to the municipality's land holdings and contribute to creating an efficient and sustainable land management. The role also includes close contact with residents – inquiries can range from leases and land use to littering, unsafe places, injured animals, and tree felling. This requires both sensitivity, service orientation, and the ability to provide clear and secure guidance.

You will collaborate closely with functions that work with forest and wildlife management and also have many points of contact with other units and administrations when common issues need to be resolved. The work is social, outgoing, and involves many meetings with landowners, tenants, residents, contractors, and other community actors.

As part of the unit, you will also contribute to our other areas of work and may participate in development and exploitation projects. This may involve support in early stages, participation in investigations, or assisting colleagues with issues related to land law and property management. With us, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you deepen your knowledge in specific issues while also driving long-term community issues forward.

Qualifications
We are looking for someone with solid experience in land management from municipal, state, or private operations. You have a university degree in surveying, urban planning, property law, or equivalent, or you have built up equivalent competence through relevant work experience. You have good knowledge of property law, contractual issues, and land-related regulations, and you feel confident interpreting and applying them in practice.

Experience in forest and wildlife management is an advantage, as is familiarity with working in politically governed organizations or in roles involving many stakeholders. If you also have experience in negotiations, drafting agreements, financial monitoring, or issues related to land use, we see it as a significant plus.

We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You work independently and in a structured manner, express yourself very well in both speech and writing, and enjoy a role where you meet people and create good relationships. You are flexible, unpretentious, and easily adapt to changing situations and assignments. Negotiation skills and a solution-oriented approach are important strengths in the role.

You are communicative, collaborative, confident in representing the municipality professionally, and used to handling issues that sometimes evoke strong feelings, and you dare to engage in discussions when necessary. In a day-to-day environment that often changes pace, you need to be able to combine a service-oriented mindset with a clear and legally secure approach.
A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
